FOOD PANTRY

Got too much month at the end of the money? We feel ya. There are a lot of other folks in your shoes. Come by on the last Saturday of every month and we’ll get you some food you can take home to prepare. Individuals and families all welcome.

If you are inspired to help, we welcome food donations to add to the pantry. Call the church at 985-987-1234 to find out what we need the most this month.

WHISPERING PINES sCHOOL

This Broward County school focuses on academics and social/emotional learning. The staff remains dedicated to schoolwide instructional practices that enhance self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making. Whispering Pines seeks to create a welcoming, participatory and caring climate for learning through collaboration with families, community members, and stakeholders. Miramar Lutheran is proud to support the students, faculty, and staff at this school.

LUTHERAN WOMEN’S MISSIONARY LEAGUE

The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) is the official women’s auxiliary of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. For over 77 years, the LWML has focused on affirming each woman’s relationship with Christ, encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries and to support global missions. Our congregation is proud to support these women in their effort to spread God’s Word around the world.

HOPE WOMEN’S CENTERS

Hope Women’s Centers has been helping women make pregnancy decisions since 1987. All of our services are FREE and CONFIDENTIAL, and are offered in our medical clinics at several convenient locations in Broward County. Our desire is to provide hassle-free, no-cost services in a friendly, non-judgmental atmosphere. We do not benefit financially from the decision you make, so you can trust us with this important decision.

Even across the globe …

AFRICAN RADIO MINISTRY

African Radio Ministries exists to glorify God through mass media. ARM is depopulating hell and populating heaven in Ethiopia, Liberia, and surrounding nations through Lutheran worship services on the radio.

In January 2005 African Radio Ministries (ARM) began broadcasting weekly Lutheran worship programs in Africa.

The programs are designed to encourage listening groups that eventually become church plants, especially in remote, outlying areas where it would be difficult to support a pastor. These church plants in turn evangelize neighboring communities creating a multiplication of disciples for Christ.
